This Privacy Policy describes how ProjectProfit ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").

• Information You Provide Directly: This includes information you enter when you use the App, such as your name, email, company details, address, and bank account information for invoicing. It also includes all project-related data like client names, time entries, and expense details (descriptions, amounts, categories, and receipts).
• Automatically Collected Information (Usage Data): We use third-party services that may automatically collect certain information. This includes:
  • Firebase Analytics: To understand how our App is used, which features are popular, and to identify areas for improvement. This may include device type, session duration, and feature usage.
  • Firebase Crashlytics: To identify, track, and fix crashes in the App. This includes information about the device state at the time of a crash.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain the core functionality of the App, such as time tracking, project management, and expense logging.
• To generate invoices and financial reports as requested by you.
• To provide you with analytics and insights about your project profitability.
• To monitor App usage and analyze trends to improve our service.
• To diagnose and fix technical problems and crashes.

3. Data Storage and Security

The majority of your personal and project data is stored locally on your device in a secure database. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Play Billing: To process in-app purchases and subscriptions. We do not store your credit card information. All transactions are handled by Google. You can review Google's Privacy Policy here.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personally identifiable information to others. Your data is not shared with any third parties except as described in the "Third-Party Services" section to facilitate the App's functionality.

6. Your Data Rights

You have full control over the data you enter into the App. You can add, edit, and delete your projects, time entries, and expenses directly within the App at any time. Deleting the App from your device will also remove the locally stored database.

7. Children's Privacy

Our service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the ProjectProfit mobile application (the "App"). Your access to and use of the App is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms.

1. Use of the App

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose: to track time, manage projects, log expenses, and generate invoices for your freelance business. You are responsible for all data and content you create within the App.

2. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

The App offers a free tier of service and may offer premium features available through an in-app purchase or subscription ("Premium Features"). All payments are processed through the Google Play Store and are subject to Google's terms of service. Subscriptions will automatically renew unless canceled by you through your Google Play account settings.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties and Financial Advice

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive for accuracy, we make no warranty that the App will be error-free or that access thereto will be continuous or uninterrupted.

The financial calculations, analytics, and insights provided by the App are for informational purposes only and are not intended as a substitute for professional financial, tax, or legal advice. You should consult with a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.

4. Intellectual Property

The App, including its original code, design, branding, and features, is the exclusive property of its owner. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer any part of the App without express written permission.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, or other intangibles, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms within the App or on our website. You are advised to review these Terms periodically for any changes.
