• Sharing Information: When you use the "Share Item" feature, we collect the email address of the person you intend to share with to facilitate this functionality.

We do not collect personal information automatically, such as device IDs or detailed usage analytics for tracking purposes. Our use of service providers is strictly for core app functionality.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for various purposes, including:

• To Provide and Maintain Our Service: To operate the App, allow you to store and retrieve your items, and use features like reminders and location history.
• To Manage Your Account: To create and manage your account, handle authentication, and perform email verification.
• To Enable App Features: To facilitate the sharing of items between users as you direct, and to send you push notifications for reminders you have set.
• For Security: To protect our App and users from fraud, spam, and abuse.
• To Communicate With You: To send you service-related announcements, such as security alerts or support messages. We will not send you marketing emails.

3. How Your Information is Shared

Your privacy is paramount. We are committed to not sharing your personal data with third parties for their own commercial purposes.

• Sharing Between Users: The core "Share" feature is designed to share specific item information with another user at your explicit direction. When you share an item with another user's email, that user will be granted permission to view that specific item's details.
• Service Providers: We use third-party services to host our data and operate the App. These services act as data processors on our behalf. Our primary service provider is Google Firebase, which provides our database, authentication, cloud storage, and notification infrastructure. • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect and defend our rights or property, or protect the personal safety of users of the App or the public.

We take the security of your data very seriously. We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including:

• Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS).
• Encryption at Rest: Your data, including images, is stored in an encrypted state on Google Firebase's secure servers.
• Secure Authentication: We use Firebase Authentication, which provides a secure, industry-standard system for managing user accounts and credentials.

• Access and Update: You can access and update your item information at any time directly within the App.

If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.
